Easy to reach by car and public transport, Villa Belvedere is located in San Vito di Cadore on the slopes of Monte Antelao, also called the “King of the Dolomites” by the locals. The center of the village with plenty of shops and restaurants is only a 10-minute walk downhill. World-famous Cortina d´Ampezzo is a 15-minute car ride away. Our house is surrounded by stunning mountains and you can start your exploration from the doorstep of your apartment.
At 1011m above sea level, San Vito di Cadore lies in a vast green valley surrounded by some of the most beautiful and highest peaks of the Dolomites. San Vito is a typical village of the Dolomites where history and legends blend with local traditions. Not only is it an ideal starting point for outdoor activities in winter and summer, but it also combines a rich cultural heritage with a lush natural landscape for all mountain lovers.

How to find us from the town center
As you arrive in San Vito di Cadore from Cortina, drive past the main Church and take the upward street (Via Belvedere) to your left with the road signs pointing in direction of the ski slopes. Continue on Via Belvedere for about 500 metres, turning first left and then right, until you see a small church on your left. Pass it and continue until a fountain appears on your left and a yellow house on the right. Turn right into the first of the two parallel streets, passing the yellow house with the coat of arms Ca’ De Lotto. After 15 metres on a narrow alley you arrive at Villa Belvedere.
By car or motocycle
From the south, you can reach San Vito di Cadore by motorway A27 from Mestre to Belluno and the connected state road SS51 d’Alemagna (about 140 km or 90 minutes by car). Coming from the north, take the motorway A22 from Brennero. At the tollgate “Bressanone-Val Pusteria”, leave the motorway and take the state road SS49 to Dobbiaco, then the SS51 through Cortina to San Vito di Cadore.
By train
From the south, the nearest railway station is Calalzo, 25km from San Vito di Cadore. Trains run from Venice-Santa Lucia to Calalzo from where a train-connected bus service takes you onwards to San Vito. From the north, you need to alight the EuroCity Munich-Bologna at Fortezza and take the regional “Pustertal Line” to Dobbiaco, from where regional busses depart for Cortina and San Vito.
By plane
From San Vito di Cadore, the nearest airports are located in Treviso, Venice, Verona, and Innsbruck (in Austria). San Vito di Cadore is 140km away from Venice, 130km from Treviso, 250km from Verona and 175km from Innsbruck. From Venice Airport (Marco Polo) there is a direct bus service (“Cortina Express”) to the center of San Vito di Cadore which takes around 90 minutes.
